CAT has redesigned our website for 2005. Please visit all sections to learn about what the State has failed to tell you. CAT can not do this without the help of the citizens of Ohio. It will take a massive effort by everyone to achieve our goal of abolishment of emissions testing in Ohio. There is already massive amounts of misinformation about this program, and the possible alternatives to this program. You have to be the judge of who is telling the truth. You have to judge the information by merit. Are you willing to take the word of people that profit from this program, or people that have volunteered many hours trying to bring the truth to the people? Have you ever sent a letter to a newspaper, only to have them not print it, or worse then that, edit it so severely that your meaning was twisted around? We completely understand because CAT has been misquoted many times in the last 10 years. We will print your letters when no one else will. Just email it to us with a request to print your letter. Just make sure you do not make any personal attacks on any private citizen because you do not want to wake up to a slander charge. Public officials are different, but please don't be to harsh on anyone. Let us keep this civilized. Email your Letters/Comments/Suggestions to: comment@catohio.cjb.net |
Ohio is coming to a pivotal time in regards to the future of Air Quality for our citizens. We understand the State was hoodwinked by the Federal Government in 1993 about losing highway funds if they did not adopt E-Check. CAT uncovered this as a lie. The State was also told E-Check was the most economical option to clean the air. CAT also uncovered this as a lie. The State was told E-Check would clean the air better then any other program around. CAT once again proved this was also a lie. In fact, over the last 9 years, CAT has dispelled almost 99.9% of the claims from the OEPA & USEPA in regards to this program and its claim of cleaning Ohio's air. On top of all these accomplishments, CAT also uncovered how E-Check is actually hurting Ohio's effort to maintain clean air for our citizens to breathe. After all of these facts being uncovered, there are some in the State that want to renew the contract with Envirotest even though it has been a dismal failure in every since of the word. This only proves the auto emissions testing program is about money, and has nothing to do with cleaning the air we breathe. It is going to take a combined effort to rid our people of the headache that has lasted 10 years. Without your help, this program is going to live and grow stronger. If only one thing is realized from your visit to our website, you will go away with knowledge the State has failed to tell you. If this program is permitted to continue, and grow stronger, our air will continue to become dirtier. Now if the object is to have cleaner air, then this program, and most of the other programs the State is going to recommend are going to be detrimental to the end objective. As long as the State is permitted to generate emissions trading credits, then these programs will only serve to harm our environment, contrary to the claims of the EPA. This is why you do not hear the politicians and the media speak of emissions credits, and you will only hear it from CAT. They do not want you to know about this dirty little secret that is making the State millions. Info on emissions credits are outlined inside the main CAT website. We have designed our 2005 update to provide areas for all people to add their thoughts and comments for the rest to view. This will be open to everyone, but comments will be limited to one a month, and all comments will be uncensored (except for profanity) We urge politicians, members of the EPA, environmentalists, and the general public to add comments. There is so much misinformation disseminated that CAT will address comments when we deem necessary. We also request that people try to keep their comments brief. (350 words or less) Extremely long emails will be returned with a request to edit down for size. All subjects will be excepted from testing problems, repair problems, or any other feelings you have relating to how Ohio should, or should not go about cleaning our air. Remember, the only stupid question is the one you do not ask. You might just have the answer to everyone's problem, and come up with a solution that no one has ever thought about. You might have the answer but no one will ever know if you do not ask/comment (Your name will be withheld upon request) |
